Research highlights:
December 2016
Advanced Materials Technologies issued a back cover feature of our recent article "Transparent, flexible, and passive thermal touch panel". The work was carried out as a part of the EU Horizon 2020 project TransFlexTeg.
September 2016
"Large-area thermoelectric high-aspect-ratio nanostructures by atomic layer deposition" was featured on the cover of Nanotechnology.
Nanotechweb.org also covered the article in their Lab Talk research highlights series. Read "ALD produces large-area thermoelectric nanostructures" here.
March 2015
Our article about coherent terahertz control of vertical transport in semiconductor heterostructures was published in Physical Review Letters.
July 2014
Our article "Focused ion beam lithography for fabrication of suspended nanostructures on highly corrugated surfaces" has been featured in the IOPSelect. Read here also the thoughts of the main author about the results and the impact of the paper.
August 2013
Our article “Biomimetic zinc chlorin - poly(4-vinylpyridine) assemblies: doping level dependent emission-absorption regimes" was highlighted in hot articles for August in the Journal of Materials Chemistry Blog, Phys.org and LaserFocusWorld
March 2009
Nikolai Chekurov was awarded as the 1st Place Winner in the Materials Research Society's - Science As Art competition with the work titled as "The modern Stonehenge: Colorized SEM image of silicon nanopillar formation created by Gallium implantation and DRIE-etching".
