Electron Physics Group arranges the following courses :

S-69.2111 Basics of Micro and Nanoelectronics (5 ECTS) FINNISH ONLY!
Basics of semiconductor physics, semiconductor fabrication technologies, pn-junction, optoelectronic devices, MOS capacitors, MOSFET, Bipolar transistors. (Bachelor level)

S- 69.3114 Microsensors (5 ECTS)
Physical principles, fabrication and applications of i) thermal ii) radiation iii) mechanical iv) magnetic and v) (bio)chemical microsensors. (Master level)

S-69. 3116 Semiconductor laboratory course (5 ECTS)
Processing and characterization of crystalline silicon solar cells.  Includes mandatory cleanroom safety training class.(Master level)

S-69.4123  Post-graduate course on Electron Physics I (5 ECTS)
Yearly changing topic, often held with a seminar style. (PhD level)

S-69.3105 Special project in semiconductor technology (5-8 ECTS)
Report on small-scale research experiments, literature survey on topical research issue or a mixture of both. Content is agreed beforehand with teacher. Students are encouraged to propose their own topics. (Master level)

S-69.Z Individual postdoctoral studies (1-10 ECTS)
Individually chosen content and assessment. Can be anything from book exam to conference presentation. (PhD level)

S-69.30P Project Work for international students (15-30 ECTS)
Individually agreed course related to the research. (Master level)

LUMA course: Micro and Nanotechnology
Hands-on course for upper secondary high-school students. See more information from LUMA web pages (link above, information available only in Finnish).
